The goal of this project was the creation of a design manifesto. The layout of this manifesto enabled an exploration of type, grid, and sequential editorial design. I wanted to create a common horizon grid line where text would start across each spread to help create cohesiveness, while also allowing for variety on each page. It was challenging to address the common grid line with different sized type. To address this, I found common lines to anchor the words. While also leaving my reasoning on how and why I named each one and designed them.
